Transport grain, maize, and agricultural bulk commodities from silos and farms in the Free State to mills, animal feed manufacturers, and export terminals. Seasonal peaks during harvest (April-July).
Responsibilities
Transport bulk grain and maize from farm silos to processing facilities
Operate side-tipper and walking-floor trailers for bulk offloading
Navigate rural Free State roads safely with heavy loads
Comply with weighbridge regulations and load limits
Coordinate with silo operators for loading schedules
Maintain cargo integrity — keep grain dry and uncontaminated
Complete grain delivery notes and silo receipts
Requirements
Valid Code EC (14) licence with PrDP
3+ years bulk agricultural transport experience
Experience with side-tipper and walking-floor trailers
Knowledge of Free State farming routes and silo locations
Comfortable with rural driving conditions
Available for extended hours during harvest season
Qualifications
Code EC (14) with PrDP. Bulk grain transport experience preferred.
