Transport livestock between farms, feedlots, and abattoirs in the Free State and neighbouring provinces. Must understand animal welfare regulations and proper livestock handling during transport.
Responsibilities
Transport cattle, sheep, and other livestock safely between locations
Ensure animal welfare compliance during loading, transit, and offloading
Maintain livestock trailer in clean and sanitary condition
Complete livestock movement permits and documentation
Drive carefully on farm roads and gravel surfaces
Coordinate with farmers and livestock handlers
Requirements
Valid Code EC (14) licence with PrDP
Minimum 4 years livestock transport experience
Knowledge of animal welfare regulations (NSPCA standards)
Experience with livestock trailers and handling facilities
