Deliver diesel fuel to construction sites, mining operations, and fleet depots across Gauteng using a fuel bowser truck. Must hold valid Hazchem certification for dangerous goods transport.
You will be responsible for safe fuel dispensing, accurate metering, and documentation of all deliveries. Routes cover major construction projects in Sandton, Midrand, Centurion, and surrounding industrial areas.
Responsibilities
Transport diesel fuel in a road bowser to construction and mining sites
Dispense fuel accurately using metered equipment
Maintain fuel delivery logs and reconcile with dip readings
Conduct daily safety inspections on bowser and dispensing equipment
Follow all dangerous goods transport regulations (SANS 10231)
Respond to fuel spill emergencies per training protocols
Coordinate with site managers for delivery scheduling
Requirements
Valid Code EC (14) licence with DG PrDP
Hazchem/ADR dangerous goods certificate
3+ years fuel delivery experience
Understanding of fuel metering and reconciliation
Clean driving and criminal record
Knowledge of Gauteng construction sites
Qualifications
Code EC (14) with DG PrDP. Hazchem certificate essential. Fire safety training.
