Deliver temperature-controlled goods including frozen foods and pharmaceuticals across Gauteng and neighbouring provinces. Must understand cold chain compliance and HACCP awareness.
Work with modern refrigerated fleet ensuring temperature integrity from depot to delivery point. Routes cover major retailers, hospitals, and distribution centres.
Responsibilities
Transport frozen and chilled goods in temperature-controlled vehicles
Monitor and record cargo temperatures throughout delivery routes
Ensure cold chain integrity from loading dock to customer delivery
Conduct pre-trip checks on refrigeration units and vehicle
Complete temperature logs and delivery documentation
Handle SAHPRA-regulated pharmaceutical deliveries where required
Maintain vehicle cleanliness to food safety standards
Requirements
Valid Code EC (14) licence with PrDP
Minimum 4 years driving experience, cold chain preferred
Understanding of cold chain compliance and HACCP principles
Experience with refrigerated unit operation (Thermo King, Carrier)
Clean driving record
Physical fitness for loading/offloading
Qualifications
Grade 12 preferred. Code EC (14) with PrDP. Cold chain/HACCP certificate advantageous. SAHPRA awareness a plus.
