Job Description
Drive distribution routes delivering fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) to Shoprite, Checkers, and USave stores across the Western Cape. Based at a distribution centre in Brackenfell, Cape Town.
You will deliver palletised stock to retail stores on fixed weekly routes. Experience with tail-lift operation and pallet jack handling is required.
Responsibilities
Deliver FMCG stock from DC to retail stores on scheduled routes
Operate tail-lift for pallet loading and offloading
Use pallet jacks to move stock into store receiving areas
Verify delivery against picking slips and get store sign-off
Handle returns and damaged goods per procedure
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness
Complete daily trip sheets and delivery reports
Requirements
Valid Code C1 (10) licence with PrDP
3+ years FMCG or retail distribution experience
Tail-lift and pallet jack experience essential
Knowledge of Western Cape retail locations
Reliable — routes start at 4am
Clean driving record
Qualifications
Code C1 (10) with PrDP. FMCG distribution experience. Tail-lift certified.
