Job Description
Oversee a fleet of 30+ vehicles for a major logistics company in Johannesburg. Manage drivers, routes, maintenance schedules, and compliance. Leadership role with excellent growth potential.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily fleet operations across 30+ vehicles
Manage driver schedules, performance, and compliance
Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repair schedules
Monitor fleet via GPS tracking and reporting systems
Ensure RTMS and regulatory compliance
Handle incident investigations and reporting
Manage fuel costs and operational budgets
Report to operations director
Requirements
Valid Code B licence
5+ years transport/logistics experience
Minimum 2 years in supervisory/management role
RTMS knowledge essential
Proficient in fleet management systems
Strong leadership and people management
Computer literate (Excel, fleet software)
Qualifications
Diploma in Transport/Logistics Management preferred. RTMS certification. People management experience essential.
