Long Haul Driver — JHB to Cape Town Route

Job Description

Regular long-haul trips between Johannesburg and Cape Town (1,400km). Two trips per week with overnight stops. Modern truck fleet with sleeper cabs.

Responsibilities

  • Drive JHB–CPT route (N1/N12) twice weekly
  • Load and offload at distribution centres
  • Comply with driving hours regulations
  • Maintain trip sheets and fuel records
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections per RTMS

Requirements

  • Valid Code EC (14) with PrDP
  • 3+ years long-distance experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Comfortable with extended time away from home

Qualifications

Grade 10. Code EC (14) with PrDP.
